june has been the month of settling into newer, positive changes. i finally graduated college, our company is now a part of a new ecosystem, and i actually have time during the day to focus on my own health and wellness. its the small, simple things that i’m truly cherishing right now, and i would not have it any other way. 🧿
having said that, it is also an extremely strange feeling. i’m often encountered with moments where i feel like “i should be doing more” and that “this is the youngest you’ll ever be, so you should work the hardest you can!!” but you know what? if we listened to every single voice in our head, we would go insane. so instead of turning into a mad woman (swifties, iykyk) i’m just going to hang tight and enjoy the ride.
in Q3, my main goal is travel as much as i can and to meet new, interesting people doing cool stuff. i’ll be in europe for two weeks this month, and US west coast in august for 3 weeks. might hit up token2049 in singapore during september 👀 if you’re around and would like to meetup, send me a dm.
anyway, without further ado, let’s dive into the best of what i consumed in june:
📘 what i’m reading:
blue sisters, by coco mellors: three sisters reunite in nyc after their sibling’s death, facing grief and their complicated pasts. as they navigate their struggles, they uncover secrets about themselves and their family. honestly heartbroken in the best way possible after reading this book. couldn’t bring myself to read anything else after this, and i still think about the characters quite often. would highly recommend to anyone who loves family fiction.
🎧 what im listening to:
the neuroscience of working out: an honest, raw conversation about what happens in our brain when we’re working out, and why we must do it. not just for physical health but also mental health. bitter truths served with lighthearted humour.
the power of walking, dan koe: walking is more than just going on a walk. if you’re struggling with motivation to move your body, definitely watch this because it’s a great video to get you inspired to walk every single day. personally trying to aim for 8k daily at the moment, and driven by the need to just have a daily block where im just moving freely.

💭 a quote that i’m thinking about:
“But what they don’t know is this: As long as you are alive, it is never too late to be found.”

🌱 cool stuff from random places:
the WoW effect: going to shamelessly plug a token-gated podcast i recorded for WoW over the last few months along with diana! we poured a lot of time and energy into interviewing industry professionals about their insights on innovation in web3 — would love for you to take a look!
aleena dissects: my friend started a podcast! and it’s really, really good. aleena brings in a fresh perspective with her extensive experience in the marketing industry to dive deep into different realms of business. check it out! also, i was her first guest 🥹
buildspace: 60,000 people currently working on different ideas, locking in on purely building them. i’m in awe of how driven everyone is, and the diversity of the people in this batch.
iconic moments from 2022: i will be forever nostalgic about the iconic stuff that went down in 2022. stranger things season 4, sabrina carpenter’s alum, midnights, and so much more.
q3 energy:
